Karla Alvarado-Oien
Accounting Manager
Karla Alvarado-Oien joined Laser in 2023 and serves as an account manager, where she manages overseas and international payables. With a degree in International Relations and over two decades of experience spanning customer service, logistics, and accounting, Karla brings a well-rounded and globally informed perspective to her role.
Karla is known for her attention to detail and commitment to building trust through strong, long-term relationships. She takes pride in consistent follow-up and delivering reliable, high-quality service. She also values being part of Laser’s ethical, collaborative work environment, which makes her work especially meaningful.
Outside of work, Karla loves to travel—whether it’s a quick getaway or an extended trip, she finds joy in exploring new places with her family. When at home, she and her husband stay busy supporting their daughter’s passions, including violin, singing, and especially dancing. A fun fact about Karla is that she lived in Montreal for nearly five years, where she worked in logistics and spoke three languages: French, English, and Spanish. Her favorite destinations include London and Scotland.
